Guess it's too late to fire THAT campaign staffer, huh?<BR/><BR/>And I finally stopped even looking at the caller ID on Monday and even Tuesday evenings, because it was a pretty safe bet that it was a Donna Edwards robo-call that I had no intention of answering. (Although we did get at least one anti-Edwards voice mail.) They got so annoying over the last week that I toyed with not even voting for her!<BR/><BR/>How effective are those robo-calls, anyway? I'm sure there have been studies, or they wouldn't be doing them, but in the age of caller ID, who the heck answers the phone when "800 Service" calls? <BR/><BR/>(Although my husband sometimes answers telemarketing calls, just for his own entertainment. Interestingly enough, they were all the *same* flyer, which had something like the National REALTORS Association as the return address.
