The Silver Spring Candidate
Not that I'm advocating you vote for any particular candidate in next week's Maryland primary, but it's worth noting that Barack Obama's Montgomery County headquarters is opening tonight in Silver Spring at the corner of Colesville and Georgia (on Skid Row). Hillary Clinton's, meanwhile, is in Bethesda...
Following the office opening, there will be a "Barack the Vote" pep rally at McGinty's at 6:30:
Join Congressman Elijah Cummings, Attorney General Doug Gansler, State Senator Lisa Gladden, State Senator Jamie Raskin, Delegate Tom Hucker and other Montgomery County Barack Obama supporters at this huge rally/fundraiser Wednesday evening. This is one of the rare occasions where your vote in Maryland actually means something, so be sure to get out and vote for (*cough* *cough* Obama *cough*) your candidate of choice next Tuesday.
Let's get "Fired Up and Ready to Go" as we enter the final days before the critical February 12 Maryland Primary.
This is a chance to find out what you can do to help Obama win in Maryland.
Bring your friends to this exciting organizing pep rally and let's get the vote out for Barack Obama!

Any idea if Barack's gonna be at either gig tonight?
No, I think he's in Nebraska or somewhere.
Does this mean there are going to be more rallies encouraging cars to honk their horns at the Georgia/Colesville intersection? I support Obama, but I also support less honking.
The Hilary supporters were out in full force this morning at the intersection of Viers-Mill and Georgia in Wheaton! Honk-a-mania!
You forgot the other Silver Spring candidate: Donna Edwards!
Let's kick that no-good Republican wannabe, George Bush worshipping, lousy constitutent service-delivering, argle-flargling Wynn out of office!
I think that I'm the only republican in the Silver Spring area. I guess that means I'm the only one that cares about the safety of our country, and I'm the only one that's a true American. Have you thanked a republican or a military service member for fighting for your rights today?
Is that a joke?
haha, well it is a joke - whether the person knows s/he made it is a different question. Is that Obama pic for real? If it is, i think im goin to have to find a way to vote for him twice on Tuesday
It sure is.
Yeah those honking rallies drive me crazy! You can always ask them nicely to move to a different corner though, and genneraly they are doing this in residential areas either.
Amanda
The other day Katie Couric called him Senator Barama. Really funny.
Go Hillary
The Obama office is on the 7th Floor of the Lee Building. (Not so ghetto).
We need some Volunteers
Go McCain!!!!! I love knowing that my country is protected now. I can kiss that good bye when the democrates take over. Have you thanked a republican or a military service member for fighting for your rights today?
Who let the troll out of his cage?
Obama's crew will be honking, winking and waving outside the Majestic Theater this evening (Friday), probably on the turf.
Consider all the noise outside the theater as a preview of all the noise happening inside.
You love Bush? That is truly delusional. He is a fear mongering, don't tax the rich and spend republican who is TOTALLY beholden to special interests.
Now for something completely different...
I took my life in my hands and walked along Skid Row today, looking for the Obama office to make a donation and get a bumper sticker. NOW I find out it is in the Blair Building, and on the seventh floor at that... well better late than never... UNLESS your talking about McCain, of course!
Did Ike Leggett give Obama a favorable lease in that building too?
Can't think of a single reason why a good conservative like me would vote for an uber-liberal like Obama.
I understand Obama shook hands this afternoon at Mayorga Coffee.
