The Express has a nice, long (for them, at least) article today on how great Silver Spring is.
I'm a tad confused about their geography, however...
Take a walk down Ellsworth Drive and find everything from Thai, Vietnamese, Mexican and Jamaican cuisine to chain joints such as Chipotle, Red Lobster, Macaroni Grill and Eggspectations.
Where is there Jamaican food on Ellsworth? I assume they are referring to Negril (on Thayer). And how much did Mica have to pay to get called "upscale" and "luxury"?? They also might be a little premature in announcing the future arrival of City Homes, whose construction appears to have been tabled, at least for the time being.
OK, I'm picky, but I follow these things far too closely. All in all, it's nice to see The Spring get some props.
