Silver Spring News 'N Notes

After a long hiatus, I have returned. I am going to assume that in my absense you have all obtained your Silver Spring news elsewhere, so I will include just a couple of tidbits in today's entry. Keep checking back, as I am planning on getting back in the swing of things and make regular updates.

- Martin Scorsese will be honored in Silver Spring at this year's Silverdocs film festival.

- The Post reviews downtown Silver Spring's new restaurant, Taste of Jerusalem.
